And so it begins..............

For the last year or so, three of my colleagues in CT have been suggesting that I write a blog.  I suppose the reason they suggested this to me is that I'm not sure if they all came up with the name or suggestion for my blog or if just one of them did but they suggested #WhatsUpWithDonna and I decided to abbreviate it to #WUWD. 

Justin, Chelsea and Skye all share my passion and love for the sport of Figure Skating and they also are hilarious. They have a great work ethic and they also laugh at my jokes or at least pretend that they are funny (that counts too).  

​I am a huge fan of enjoying and loving what you do and since we are all skaters and coaches, it is fabulous to be surrounded with their enthusiasm and "good energy".  I think it's of the upmost importance to have a positive attitude, work hard and "skate and smile"!

Speaking of skating and smiling, I have a little summer program called "Skate N' Smile and they all work with me at this fun filled week along with some of our other colleagues.  We all try to instill our love for the sport and share it with all of the skaters!  We have some contests and here is a shot of them in their "judges" chairs when we give the kids a chance to shine and show off their skating, performance skills and creativity!
